Admin · December 20, 2023 ·

By Jeffrey J. Kripal Ufology is not a science but a process of initiation. One starts with field investigations and ends up studying Arab mystics . . . . By Kimberly S. Engels A major moment of potential disclosure was in the air two weeks ago, as whistleblower David Grusch alleged that the US government is in possession of multiple crafts or fragments of crafts of non-human origin. By Kimberly S. Engels When Colm Kelleher and his NIDS research team embarked on their scientific exploration of Skinwalker Ranch, they found themselves confronted with a problem. More on Phenomenology as a Method for UAP Studies

Admin · December 20, 2023 ·

By Kimberly S. Engels I have argued that phenomenology offers an important lens for UAP studies, given the nature of the objects of experience. To introduce some basic language of phenomenology, we must understand intention. In phenomenology, intentionality is the direction of my consciousness, in other words, what my conscious experience is about. If I […]

Admin · December 20, 2023 ·

By Kimberly S. Engels I listened to the Congressional hearing on UAP while studying the Anne and Whitley Strieber collection at the Rice University Woodson Research Archives. Experiencer Disclosure Initiative (ExDI)

How sad, is it not, to see a whole municipality attempt to certify the truth of folk tales… the philosophical reader will draw his own conclusions regarding this document, which attests to an apparently false fact, a physically impossible phenomenon. — Pierre Bertholon, editor of the Journal des Sciences utile in Montpellier, Regarding “fiery stones […]

Lawrence and the Armenians

Admin · May 1, 2023 ·

by John E. Mack The name of T. E. Lawrence (“Lawrence of Arabia”) is not generally associated with the history of Armenia. This is understandable, since the activities which brought Lawrence world renown were confined to the Hedjaz and to the lands of the Middle East bordering the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. He does, […]
